Objective In this study, we aimed to investigate the medical postgraduates’ attitudes about scientific misconduct activities, to give support to scientific research integrity education.Methods We conducted a cross-sectional survey in three medical schools in Sichuan province in September 2020. Medical postgraduates were investigated to report the sociodemographic information, self-attitude about research activities.Results 983 students completed, 73.14% respondents were pursuing master program, 27.9% had published SCI papers. For attitudes about scientific misconduct activities, 0.93% agreed to turn negative results picture into positive by software, 5.08% agreed to modify data when P value was larger than 0.05 slightly.Conclusions The results of this study show that a few medical postgraduates are still not resolute about academic misconduct. We should further strengthen the education and establish the bottom line thinking which cannot be touched by the academic misconduct of medical postgraduates.
